My health has been very unpredictable over the past 4-5 years, and although I am doing better at the moment, that could change tomorrow.
I try to treat every day as a gift, and my life has gotten infinitely better in the past 2 years.
I will go into my whole history (personal as well as medical), but I wanted to start out with a brief introduction to you all. Here's a little about me and my family.
My name is Jaclyn, I just turned 37-born and raised in Bronx, NY.
I am the middle child and have 2 brothers: Chris (40) & Robert (30 1/2).
My younger brother, Robert met his wife Maggie at our cousin Alaina's wedding in March 2009.
Maggie is the sister of my cousin's husband Joe.
So that makes her a cousin by marriage as well as my sister-in-law. Confusing enough for you? lol
Did I mention that Alaina, Joe, and Maggie all live in Arizona? So naturally after trying the long distance thing for almost a year, my brother moved to Arizona in November 2009.
My brother promptly began making a case for my parents to move out to Arizona and won them over.
I was all set to go with them (not having much of a choice unless I wanted to be homeless lol) until I met the man who is now my fiance (Rob)-but more on that later.
Robert & Maggie got married in November of 2012, and in September 2013, they welcomed my beautiful niece, Maya into the world. I am a proud auntie and plan to spoil her rotten.
With me so far? Okay, so as I was saying, my parents decided to move to Arizona.
I had decided to stay, and my older brother bought the house from my parents.
He got married last May right before they moved in June, so I ended up having a place to live.
My fiance and I have been renting the basement for almost a year now, but we have plans to join my family in Arizona by next year.
I will be sad to leave NY, and especially my doctors who have taken such good care of me, but I am thrilled that I will get to watch my niece and her siblings grow up.
We plan to get married in New Jersey, however (hopefully 7-31-15), so we will be going back and forth a bit if we move before the big day.
Well, that's about it for now. I'm gonna start at the beginning and tell you my life story, but that will have to wait until I have a bit more time. It will be done a bit at a time, and I will also post if I have anything I feel like sharing that's going on in my life now.
